About Kyle Lechtenberg

I started working in packaging design in 2011 thinking it was temporary, until I could find a product design job. Little did I know, I stumbled into the happiest accident of my life. I quickly fell in love with the fast pace and challenges of learning a new skill set while being totally responsible for all the work that came out of the office; I was the only packaging designer at the facility. I have learned FedEx and ISTA standards by doing the testing in house and watching my designs get certified at the FedEx Package Testing facilities in Memphis, TN. I learned what it takes to get products to be distributed through Amazon and how to attain their “Frustration-Free” certification. I have installed and integrated ArtiosCAD within two separate facilities. I have evolved my skill set through various jobs, learning new techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes. Most recently I have been doing merchandising design for large accounts. I get to use the same skill set I learned doing packaging design but now I can to apply it to huge campaigns with national roll-outs. I have done work for Home Depot, Baccardi, The Gap, Office Depot, and Carhartt just to name a few. Packaging has become my passion and I hope to have a significant impact in the bright future of the packaging industry.
