ABOUT KYLE KAELIN

As a Senior Business Accountability Specialist at Wells Fargo, I contribute to fraud risk identification, response, and reporting within Wealth and Investment Management (WIM). My work focuses on conducting detailed root cause analyses of fraud incidents, strengthening process and control procedures, and ensuring that fraud‑related insights are accurately reflected in business‑level and enterprise reporting. I collaborate closely with partners across WIM and the broader organization to enhance fraud prevention strategies and support informed decision‑making on fraud and identity‑theft risks.A key part of my role involves working directly with field leaders and frontline teams to facilitate and resolve their most complex fraud challenges. I serve as a strategic problem‑solver—helping the field navigate emerging fraud patterns, interpret risk requirements, and implement practical, effective solutions that protect clients and strengthen operational integrity.I also work closely with our Private Wealth relationship teams to support fraud resolution for high‑net‑worth (HNW) and ultra‑high‑net‑worth (UHNW) clients. This includes guiding advisors and service teams through sensitive, high‑impact fraud events, ensuring timely escalation, tailored risk mitigation, and a seamless client experience within this elevated service tier. With over 1.5 years of experience in corporate fraud risk and governance, I bring a strategic, analytical approach to mitigating vulnerabilities and improving operational integrity. I am certified in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and committed to advancing accountability, efficiency, and risk‑aware practices across financial operations.
