ABOUT KYLE HARDMAN

I oversee the mental health efforts at On The Out CIC while working as a specialist drug and alcohol worker for ex-offenders. I work specifically with people experiencing addiction and mental health difficulties. I have recently been involved with expanding the mental health provision at my workplace, from a training standpoint as well as implementing up to date research informed practice. I am really excited about being given the chance to develop a provision tailored to ex-offender’s needs and I feel very lucky for myself and our team to have the opportunity to have such a positive impact. There really aren\'t many jobs that have the influence we do at OnTheOut and it’s a joy to be able to do what I do. Additionally, I am undertaking further training in the psychological therapies to continue my own professional development and fulfil my own goals. I have a great deal of passion for what I am taking on and i believe my skill set, lived experience and ambition would be wasted if I do not align these with my desire to help others live happier, healthier, more fulfilling lives.
