Coach * Athlete * FundraiserI am the Fundraising Manager at a newly formed charity, Athletics Trust Scotland which aims to support the ongoing development of athletics in Scotland through fundraising activities. The charity will help people of all ages and abilities across Scotland to participate, contribute and excel in all aspects of athletics. If you would like to get involved in the charity please contact me on k••••••••@athleticstrustscotland.org.ukI have 12 years of management experience; from supervisory to senior level, and with the majority of this time being spent working as a manager in operations at one of Europe’s largest sporting facilities, Aberdeen Sports Village. From managing the operations of the facility through to organising large events such as the Aberdeen Corporate Games, I have been heavily involved in maintaining its 5 star Visit Scotland rating.From working in all areas of the business, I have developed a wealth of knowledge in budget management, human resources, tender negotiations, team building, communication and time management skills.I am incredibly hard working and ambitious. This is shown through my achievements outwith the office. I am a multiple Scottish champion for running, and am currently a GB internationalist in the speciality of ultra-distance running. Another hobby of mine is co-hosting a hugely popular launched distance running podcast, ‘Tartan Running Shorts’. I initiated this launch to promote all things running in Scotland, and it receives an average of 1500 listens per week.
