I have had a distinctive career path that has led me from the high-stakes environment of emergency healthcare to the strategic, data-centric realm of insurance account management. As an EMT, I learned to maintain composure under pressure, making swift, life-critical decisions, and offering empathetic care during crises. This experience developed my problem-solving abilities and my interpersonal skills, forming a solid foundation for my career. Eventually I pursued a degree in Economics, where I learned analytical skills such as running regressions and statistical analysis. These skills have become a cornerstone of my professional toolkit, enabling me to approach challenges with a data-driven perspective. Transitioning into the insurance industry was a significant shift. Starting in customer service, I learned the importance of building and maintaining strong client relationships and the importance of effective communication. My role in bodily injury claims deepened my understanding of insurance processes and helped me develop negotiation skills. Currently, in account sales, I leverage data insights to enhance account productivity, collaborating closely with clients to create opportunities and devise solutions. My approach is rooted in a commitment to not just meet but exceed client needs, creating deep partnerships that leverage data driven insights.
