ABOUT KYLE ERICKSON

I help organizations build products and programs that prove what people actually know and can do.My career has progressed through teaching, instructional design, and product leadership, always focused on how people learn and how technology can make that learning measurable. I hold an M.Ed. in Educational Technology and have spent the last five years in EdTech and SaaS, most recently as Senior Product Manager at InSite Information Systems, where I led the strategy and development of Shift iQ, a competency-based learning and assessment platform for regulated industries.In that role I established a product operating model from scratch: discovery rhythms, Agile delivery, hypothesis-driven experimentation, and end-to-end AI prototyping using Azure AI Foundry.Since leaving InSite I\'ve been building LearnPath, an AI-powered personalized learning platform. LearnPath uses active recall, spaced repetition, and metacognitive monitoring to turn passive consumption into provable skill. It issues verifiable credentials aligned to Open Badges 3.0 and O*NET occupational data. I designed it, engineered it, and brought it to production solo. It launches on Product Hunt in May 2026.Before moving into product, I spent four years as a teacher at the Calgary Board of Education and five years at CDI College, where I taught, led a team of instructors, and built curriculum using custom LMS platforms and learner analytics.I\'m currently open to roles in product management, program management, learning and development, eLearning, and customer success, particularly at organizations where learning, enablement, or workforce outcomes matter.
