About Kyle Dipietrantonio

Motivated by mutual understanding and collaboration, I am a Dominican-American, young professional with over three years of experience in international development. Currently, I am a Fulbright Scholar in Brazil and I recently graduated from the George Washington University with a master’s degree in International Affairs. During my studies, I gained valuable cross-cultural insights from my exchange program at Sciences Po in Paris. My culminating research project focused on regional migration policy reform as a tool for socioeconomic development with the Economic Community of West African States as a case study.Through internship experience at large NGOs such as CARE USA and Save the Children, I have fortified my strategic thinking and analysis skills by leading in-depth reports on localization efforts, USG priorities and organizational qualifications, and competitor landscapes. Working across various teams has enhanced my relationship building and ability to deliver quality results in a timely manner.I remain committed to tackling inequality and promoting social inclusion in all of my pursuits. With international work and research experiences in Japan, Haiti, Argentina, Ecuador, France, Senegal, Switzerland, the UAE, and Brazil. I have sharpened my adaptability and communication skills, while engaging in leadership development.I strive to incorporate youth voices into global decision-making processes and I ultimately aim to pursue a career that promotes collaborative, policy-based initiatives that address complex challenges across the globe. My key topics of interest include migration, humanitarian-development nexus programming, education, and social integration efforts.

   Enhanced US public diplomacy goals by acting as a guest professor and teaching assistant to 6+ undergraduate courses at São Paulo State University (Unesp) on a regular basis to highlight Anglophone cultures and discuss career/study abroad readiness through self-made critical thinking activities and workshops- Launched and supported various university and community engagement initiatives such as conversation clubs, English for Adults, and English to Support the Social Integration of Migrants in partnership with local government officials to promote stronger engagement with university resources and fuel students’ English language acquisition- Participated in the 9th Annual Conference of Language Centers and Teacher Development and presented a lecture in Portuguese on Internationalization and Culture in Foreign Language Teaching to foster new insights and teaching methods for future language instructors- Presented various capacity-building workshops about career preparation through the PLEU (Unesp’s Foreign Language Program) platform to increase master’s students\' access to multilingual learning and increase global perspectives- Strategized new forms to promote the university’s internationalization efforts and alignment with the SDGs through the proposal of educational study tours, curriculum reform, and translation projects, while connecting with stakeholders across multiple campuses and university offices
