As a 2025 Teach For America corps member, I am part of a national network of leaders committed to expanding educational opportunity and driving systemic change in underserved communities. Through TFA’s intensive summer training and ongoing professional development, I am equipped to address the academic and structural inequities that disproportionately affect low-income and marginalized students.I currently serve as a 9th grade Biology teacher at Atlas Prep Charter School in Colorado Springs, where I work to build a rigorous, inclusive, and student-centered classroom that supports academic growth and affirms the potential of every learner. My work is grounded in the belief that all students deserve access to an excellent education - and that classroom leadership can be a powerful force for long-term educational equity.
