Element Markets is the leading marketer of environmental commodities throughout North America. I am the Vice President of Emissions for the Gulf Coast, which means my focus is spent supporting companies in Texas and Louisiana, primarily with their Emission Reduction Credit (ERC) needs and opportunities. However, I also help companies navigate the world of Discrete Emission Reduction Credits (DERCs), Mass Emission Cap and Trade (MECT), and Highly Reactive Volatile Organic Compound Emission Cap and Trade (HECT). I am involved with the market on a daily basis, so I can help our clients understand ERC pricing, availability, trends, etc. In addition, my background also allows me to support my clients on technical challenges as well. On behalf of several clients, I have even been involved in ERC policy discussions with State and Federal regulatory agencies. Bottom line is that I help companies wherever they need it and at any point in the ERC discussion/process which includes conception, planning, generation, management, strategy, marketing, transacting, monetizing, usage and reporting.
