Following the closure and program merge from StarVista, I have continued in my role as a Crisis Shift Supervisor with Felton Institute, providing clinical and operational leadership within a high-volume crisis response center- Collaborate with the external mobile crisis response team (MCRT via Telecare) to dispatch appropriate field support for individuals in behavioral health crises- Review counselor documentation and provide constructive, clinically informed feedback to ensure accuracy and quality of care- Offer real-time consultation to counselors managing complex cases, including mandated reporting (APS/CPS), de-escalation, and safety planning- Provide clinical guidance on risk assessment, means reduction, and alternatives to emergency rescue when appropriate- Debrief counselors after high-impact calls to support emotional processing and promote team resilience- Facilitate smooth shift transitions, coordinate staff breaks, and maintain consistent operational flow.Initiate active rescues only as a last resort when imminent risk is identified- Maintain profiles for high-utilization (“frequent flyer”) clients and update internal resource databases to support personalized, continuous care- Triage incoming crisis calls and offer direct clinical intervention when needed- Attend supervision and management meetings; take and distribute meeting minutes to support team communication and accountability.

Currently, I’m a first year MSW student at University of New England and serve as a full time Shift Supervisor and Crisis Counselor at Felton’s Peninsula Suicide Prevention and 988. Through this work, I have the privilege of supporting individuals navigating emotional distress, suicidal ideation, and mental health challenges.I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and bring a cross-functional background spanning Crisis Intervention, Human Resources Operations, and Event Management. My experience bridges direct service with organizational coordination—fueling my interest in the intersection of mental health, public health, and business strategy.I’m always open to connecting with professionals in mental health, public health, healthcare operations, or mission-driven organizations working to address complex societal issues.
