ABOUT KYLA EDWARDS
I was born in Munster, Germany (I promise you I am not a monster, although some people may beg to differ 🤣) and I grew up in a small town in the North East of England, my mam is from Bishop Auckland & my dad is from St Kitts (I\'ve never been -would love to go). My paw child is the centre of my world, I am also deep into doing shadow and inner child work, personal development, psychology and spirituality, and I get quite a lot of enjoyment from throwing a barbell down in a CrossFit gym. I am a passionate, emotionally resilient, and people-focused professional driven by a desire to inspire, motivate, and empower individuals to achieve their professional aspirations. I firmly believe in Maya Angelou\'s words:\"Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.\" Through my multifaceted experience in talent acquisition, coaching, healing, and spiritual teaching, I offer an intuitive, empathetic, and distinctive perspective. As a Talent Acquisition Partner my goal is to not only attract the right talent but also empower them to be their greatest selves. My approach involves assisting individuals in unlocking their inner potential and overcoming personal and professional obstacles through asking the right questions. My ultimate goal is to witness people thrive, not merely survive and as a PRISM practitioner, I possess a discerning eye to identify both supportive and detrimental behaviours within individuals and teams, facilitating their flourishing and growth. Today, in this present moment, I currently work at Bloom. We\'re a sustainability-led, fast-growing company that provides a range of services (SoW creation, contract management, payments, invoicing) that support the public sector to deliver social value outcomes at a local and national level. Our purpose is to enable brilliant outcomes today that build a better tomorrow and we are dedicated to creating innovative technology products and solutions that solve real-world problems and make a positive impact on people\'s lives. We’re recognised as a Sunday Times Best Companies employer 2023 (medium-sized) and we pride ourselves on having a supportive culture based on our Trademark Behaviours. Because our people come first, we continuously seek ways to improve our work environment so that everyone has an opportunity to thrive. Some of our initiatives include well-being campaigns, learning and development opportunities, anonymous feedback to senior management, mental health first aiders and more.
