I am a medical student at Lincoln Memorial University–DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine with a passion for bridging medicine, public health, and patient advocacy.With a Master of Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh and an MA in Biomedical Studies from Chatham University, I’ve built a career at the intersection of research, community engagement, and health equity. My work centers on improving access to care and amplifying the voices of those living with rare and chronic illnesses.As Director of Public Health and Policy at Myositis Support and Understanding (MSU), I lead efforts to advance patient-centered research, advocacy, and education in autoimmune and rare diseases. I also coordinate outreach initiatives that expand community partnerships and improve awareness among providers.Through my organization, Key to Public Health, LLC, I develop and secure funding for programs that address health disparities, mobilize vaccination access for vulnerable populations, and deliver public health education through webinars and workshops. My experience in grant writing, program design, and cross-sector collaboration has helped strengthen community resilience and equity-driven healthcare initiatives.At the heart of my work is a commitment to compassion, evidence-based impact, and ensuring every patient feels heard, supported, and empowered.
