ABOUT KWASI CLARK

As a Masters of Sports Science graduate of the United States Sports Academy, I look forward to working with young people. I majored in sports coaching with an emphasis in NCAA compliance. My future plan is to serve as a high school or college coach in: player development training, and coaching in the sports of football, track, and cross country. My priorities as a coach is to develop my players socially, academically, spiritually and physically. I run a dynamic academic nurturing program that will leave players with no choice other than to be truly college bound. My academic program plan causes athletes to spend between 3 and 8 hours per week studying, and working, on homework under my supervision. My athletes are required to turn in progress reports every week. Players with grades less than a \"C\" will be placed on probation, and not allowed to travel or participate in games or meets. Far to often coaches allow their athletes to under perform in the classroom, yet reward them with athletic participation. I will not allow this in my program. My program centers around HARD-WORK, FOCUS, DISCIPLINE, & COMMITMENT. Regardless of where I end up coaching, I refuse to accept mediocre, poor, or inferior work ethic. As a coach in competitive sports I believe in cutting players from the team roster that are TEAM DESTROYERS. Team destroyers are a disrespect to themselves, staff, teammates, parents, and to the process of championship training.
