ABOUT KWANGHYUN KIM
Ph.D. Process Engineer and Canadian Permanent Resident specializing in semiconductor process development. My core expertise is bridging fundamental material properties with high-performance device outcomes.In my current role, I solve complex fabrication challenges using data-driven methodologies (SPC, DoE). My hands-on skills cover the full development cycle: from thin-film deposition (PVD, ALD) and cleanroom process integration to root-cause failure analysis. This work is supported by extensive daily use of advanced metrology (XRR, XRD, XPS, SEM, AFM, and TEM analysis).This practical experience is built on a strong research foundation, including my Ph.D. in MEMS fabrication/design and postdoctoral work on Phase-Change Materials (PCMs) for photonic/PCRAM applications (characterized with spectroscopic ellipsometry and SEM).I am always looking to connect with others in the semiconductor and nanotechnology industries.
