ABOUT KWAME BOTCHWAY
Kwame is an impact strategist currently working within the community and economic development ecosystems in Northeast Ohio. He has worked on projects and research focused on inclusive and equitable community development and sustainability practices in North American and African cities. Kwame works as the Director of Community Impact and Innovation at Cleveland Neighborhood Progress and founder of Citadel Impact Consulting, working to support mission-oriented organizations to deepen and scale their impact through evidence-based program design and implementation. Kwame serves on the board of organizations locally in the United States and internationally. Kwame was named a Global Shapers Community Champion for the Midwest US (World Economic Forum) where he advises hubs on the design and execution of local impact projects across midwestern cities. Kwame is a strong advocate for equitable and inclusive program design and has spoken on various platforms locally and internationally including at Davos, and the International Economic Development Council. Kwame received his master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University where he was awarded the Mandel Leadership Fellowship.
