About Kumaravel Thangavel
A third-generation entrepreneur at the intersection of textiles, public policy, and nation-building. As part of the National Team at Young Indians (Yi), I currently lead road safety initiatives and have led Innovation earlier. In CII, served in the founding curator’s council of CII Nilgiris Economic Dialogue, MSME Taskforce, CSR Sub Committee. I am a public policy fellow and steering committee member of Citizens for Public Leadership (CPL). In 2021, I completed Strategic Leadership training at the world-renowned Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), where India’s best civil service officers are trained.In 2017, I was featured in the “200 Young Indian Entrepreneurs” list, invited by the Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as part of the “Champions of Change” initiative facilitated by NITI Aayog.
