My role now is managing contractual aspect of power purchase agreement among the PLN Group such as PLN Nusantara Power, PLN Indonesia Power, PLN Batam. They sell electricity to what so called "single buyer" whereby the internal mechanism of electricity sale and purchase occurs, how transfer price between utilities, transmission provider, and distribution/retail is arranged. My responsibility is also to manage the contracts.

I was responsible for Performance for all IPPs in Indonesia based on their PPAs. I was also ensuring the security of supply for its primary energy they used. This perticular job was so important during energy crisis in the end of 2021 until 2022. Colaboration between PLN, IPP and coal suppliers as well PLN group to secure availability coal stock and the transportation was the key success amids theenergy crisis.

Responsible in managing IPP Projects in Indonesia through various schemes, regular IPP Procurements in the form of B2B, IPP Procurements with a government fuarantee/PPP Projects. The responsibilites include the involvement from early tender process up to preparing draft of the Power Purchase Agreement and its negotiations and contract signing. The next responsibilty is to monitor such IPPs to ensure they will have fulfiled the obligations under the PPA to reach a Financing Date, a condition where an IPP not only can get a financing from Lender, but also completion of all legal documents such as permits needed from local authorities, EPC contract and its effectiveness, legal opinion from independent law firm, coal supply plan/agreement etc. Final stage of responsibility is to ensure that the construction phase of the IPPs are on the track by way of coordination with local PLN Unit.
