Project: Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR), C2 Package – Bandra Kurla Complex to ShilphataScope: Tunneling works using TBM & NATM, base slab construction, precast segment erection, waterproofing, cable ducts, and shaft works.Key Responsibilities:Reviewing and interpreting design drawings, ITPs, method statements, and specifications for tunnel and substructure works.Conducting QA/QC checks for base slab construction, reinforcement, concrete pouring and thermal monitoring using thermocouples.Witnessing trial mixes at batching plants and ensuring material approvals.Inspecting and monitoring installation of cable ducts, shafts, waterproofing systems, and precast segment erection.Maintaining inspection checklists, RFIs, NCRs, pour cards, and site QA documentation.Verifying billing measurements, concrete volume logs, and pour statistics including rejection logs Coordinating with contractors, and third-party testing agencies for quality assurance and site issue resolutions.Ensuring compliance with safety, technical, and environmental standards as per NHSRCL and Japanese design guidelines.Key Contributions:Facilitated clear and structured QA reporting formats for critical elements, improving traceability and audit readiness.Contributed to seamless coordination between field teams, design review teams, and batching plant operations at peak construction hours.
