ABOUT KUSHAL MAJUMDER

I have been working as a Supervisor Electrical at Voyants Solutions Private Limited since December 2019. In this role, I have been responsible for overseeing and proof checking various electrical installations, testing, and commissioning activities related to power supply and traction systems for metro rail projects. I have also coordinated with different stakeholders, contractors, and clients to resolve interface issues and finalize As-built drawings after the completion of installation.In my current project, which started in April 2021, I am supervising and proof checking the installation and commissioning of the power supply and third rail system for the Joka-Esplanade Metro Station, including the Joka depot. I have been involved in various activities such as drawing approvals, cable route finalization, installation of 33kV HT panels, 750 V D.C panels, control panels, and transformers, laying of cables, and coordination with PST design team for As Built Drawings. Additionally, I have been resolving problems that arise during the installation and commissioning of third rail and its accessories.In my previous project, which ended in March 2021, I am responsible for supervising and proof checking the installation and commissioning of the power supply and traction system for the Noapara-Dakshineswar Metro Station. I coordinated with different departments, stakeholders, and contractors to resolve interface issues and prepared documentation for CRS inspection. Also involved in laying and termination of cables, control wiring, installation of HT panels, transformers, and bus-ducts, and engaged in EIM work of all metro stations.Overall, my experience demonstrates that I have been involved in different aspects of electrical supervision and proof checking related to metro rail projects, including installation, testing, commissioning, documentation, and coordination with various stakeholders.
