I’m currently working as a Manager at HSBC, within Model Risk Management (MRM), specifically in the Independent Model Review (IMR) team. In this role, I focus on independently assessing Financial Crime Risk and Trade Surveillance models to ensure they meet internal governance standards and regulatory expectations. My work involves evaluating model design, data quality, performance metrics, and documentation to ensure robust model risk management practices are followed.Previously, I was a Manager at Ckuens Analytics, where I supported model validation initiatives for BSA/AML models. I worked closely with clients to assess model risk across design, data, and governance, and providing recommendations to improve model effectiveness and complianceI have a strong foundation in SQL and Python to complement model validation and data-driven analysis. Additionally, I\'ve consistently built strong client relationships and delivered high-quality outcomes across compliance and risk domains.Prior to working in the BSA/AML industry, I held a leadership role in the IT Services Team as a Senior Service Desk Analyst at David Jones & Country Road Group in Australia. During my time there, I managed high-priority incidents, coordinated with vendors and ensured adherence to Service Level Agreements.
