Kurt Strawhecker is a Founding Partner of TSG and is a well-respected and admired leader in the electronic payments industry with 30+ years of executive experience in marketing and financial services. TSG specializes in market research, benchmarks, and experience-based insights to help bring clarity to the global payments industry. Our solutions resolve today’s challenges, unlock new opportunities, and guide long-term strategies. Before starting TSG in 2001, Strawhecker spent 16 years at First Data Corporation (Fiserv), creating and managing several divisions. 1990 he relocated to the United Kingdom to assist with First Data’s initial international expansion. Upon his return to the United States in 1993, he was responsible for forming several strategic acquiring Alliances with large Banks. Then he managed one of First Data’s Merchant processing division.Strawhecker has been an active member of the Electronic Transaction Association for over 20 years. He served on the ETA Board of Directors as Chairman of several Committees and was awarded the ETA Member of the Year.Most importantly, he is married to the love of his life, Kathy, and has three wonderful children and eight grandchildren aged eight and under!
