As Regional Manager, I am responsible for the operational aspects of Baker Concrete Construction Nashville Office I am responsible to serve as Baker Concrete Construction, management liaison between the Client and Baker Concrete Director of Operations and Project Manager, providing senior management-level attention and ensuring that the firm’s high standards of project performance are maintained throughout construction.My construction exposure started as a co op in Dayton Ohio with Shook for 4 semesters and part time during the school year. Upon graduation I accepted a position as an Estimator for a construction company in Chicago, Illinois. In 1992, I joined Donley’s in an estimating role. My work on a variety of concrete projects led to promotion to Project Manager in 1995. Than I was promoted to Senior Project Manager in 2002 and to Project Executive in 2004 upon moving to Virginia to head up Donley’s Mid-Atlantic operations. In 2005, I was named Director of Operations for Donley’s. In 2006, to Regional Vice President in recognition of his continued contribution to Donley’s growth in the Mid-Atlantic region. In 2008, I became a part-owner and successfully ran a business unit for 10 years in the VA, MD, and NC markets for Donley’s.In July of 2018, I resigned from Donley\'s and joined Baker Concrete to pursue my passion of growing an emerging business in a new market for Baker in Atlanta. The project upon which this emerging business unit for Baker is being built on is the Atlanta Airport West Deck a 2.1 million sf cast in place concrete structure with 6 elevated levels and 1 on grade for a total of 7 levels. In 2021 the Nashville market was added to the responsibility for me as a Market Lead and in the past year with the team we are set up for future success in this market as well as Atlanta.
