Working in the product areas of cybersecurity and systems management, but interested in user experience, data protection, artificial intelligence, requirements engineering, counter-terrorist financing, and a broad variety of other technical and scientific topics. My main responsibility at work is to connect—prospects and customers with solutions, two good ideas to form an even better new idea. My day-to-day responsibilities range from presales to service engagements to customer support. As one of HelpSystems\' Technical Product Managers I gather, request, beg for, review, prioritize, analyze, obsess over and otherwise process input to help our team with the exhilarating task of moving our products to the next level.Aside from my technical background, I have had training in philosophy, linguistics, and public speaking/oral interpretation/rhetorics, each of which turned out to be useful.I originally hail from a small German village, spent two years in the US and since 1991 have been living in lovely Bonn on the Rhine. I\'ve been married since 2003 due to the enormous patience of my wife, and in my spare time like to photograph her and other motives.I also, in all modesty, and on a good day, make some of the best meatballs on this planet.
