My work has taken me throughout the United States and internationally creating and contributing to positive changes at four of the largest firms in their respective industries. This offers a perspective that recognizes the importance of a culture that integrates safety, health, and environment into the business process as an equal to production and quality to achieve balanced results. I can relate to and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel which creates avenues for change and supports the achievement of positive results.    Part of a highly collaborative team of seasoned safety professionals charged with furthering Brookfield Asset Management’s global focus on the target of “zero fatalities/permanent disabilities.” The team functions as internal consultants for Brookfield Properties by sharing its collective experiences to coach, mentor and support safety and health program development and enhancement. Introduced globally applicable Leading Indicator-based KPIs. Launched the Executive Incident Review process to eliminate gaps that often exist. Launched the Senior Management Observation process to directly engage managers and leaders in the safety culture and process. Established the Global Safety Leadership Team. Conduct safety culture training.Key Accomplishments:• Implemented an energy and risk-based approach to safety relevant to all companies in all geographies without altering their local compliance-based programs. • Created the “Global Minimum Requirements for SH & E” in collaboration with the Global Safety Leadership Team.• Launched the Life Saving Principles as the framework for incident reduction efforts.• Introduced Precursors as a Serious Injury and Fatality prevention tool.• Conducted energy and risk-based Physical Safety Reviews at over 300 assets in 13 countries.
