My job responsibilities entail:*Managing MRO consumables, uniform rentals, and waste management services for Tenneco\'s North American locations, collaborating with our global senior commodity manager for MRO items.*Researching, developing, and leading the regional MRO transformation initiative for all Tenneco N.A. locations-This involved analyzing the annual MRO spend data, developing an RFQ, negotiating with the chosen participants in order to find the best-in-class partners for all Tenneco locations, developing sourcing strategies to ensure Total Cost of Ownership cost savings, and developing KPIs to report out to the global MRO commodity manager and key business unit stakeholders-Project leadership with cross-functional teams in order to ensure all tasks are on track using GANTT charts and Microsoft Project*Driving cost reduction efforts with my supplier base by negotiating productivity agreements, pricing discounts, and payment terms in order to meet annual targets.*Owning all commercial aspects of Master Purchasing Agreements and individual plants\' Site Agreements.*Creating an MRO material master containing over 35K active IM & S part numbers for the NA facilities-Each part number has been assigned an MRO category and sub-category to be uploaded into SAP, which enhances spend profiles and allows for more precise, accurate, and robust Business Intelligence/data analytics.*Conducting inventory, part number, and category analyses to determine best sourcing practices and cost savings for the NA facilities.
