ABOUT KURT JUECKSTOCK

I started at GM in 1995. I worked in Kalamazoo Metals, Lansing Car Assembly, and Lansing Grand River Assembly. I returned to college in 2006 and started as a Per Diem Group Leader at the same time. I finished my Bachelor’s degree in 2008, and my Master’s in 2010. I converted from Hourly to Salary in 2011.During a 7 year period, I supervised all of the departments in General Assembly (Trim and Chassis). I spent a few months as the Lean Materials Strategy Lead, I spent several months in the paint shop, supervising the sealer line, and my final position was Quality Confirmation Group Leader for the Body and Paint shop. On February 10, 2014, I left GM and started working at Bridgewater Interiors. As a Quality Engineer, I established countermeasures for defects at the customer. I partnered with manufacturing to provide focused training for quality issues help improve the inspection process. I also worked with the supply base to improve their quality and drive continuous improvement.I left Bridgewater Interiors after 2 years to work at Magna DexSys Interiors as a Quality Engineer. In this role, I provided leadership for seven hourly quality technicians who inspected product, communicated quality issues to the workforce, and gaged fascias for fit and sonic weld integrity. I was responsible for Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plan development. After 8 months at Magna, I again changed focus from existing programs to an Advance Quality Engineer position at Adient Seating. I have been in this position for over a year. I am responsible for the quality aspect of the launch for my assigned program. This is the first time I have had a European automotive customer. My primary inputs to the program are the design and capability of assembly and stamping gages, Measurement Systems Analysis, Production Parts Approval Process, Control Plan development, input into PFMEA and Process Flow, and customer management for quality issues.
