About Kurt Grafton
I am a senior executive with over 30 years of leadership experience spanning military service, enterprise IT, digital transformation, and government contracting. My professional journey began in the U.S. Air Force, where I served 10 years as an enlisted Airman before commissioning as an officer — a path that taught me the value of perspective, adaptability, and leading from the front. I retired as a Cyberspace Officer, having held critical leadership roles across global operations, information systems, and joint command environments. That foundation continues to shape every decision I make today. After transitioning from military service, I applied those leadership lessons to the private sector, guiding complex IT modernization and transformation efforts across both public and commercial enterprises. I’ve managed cloud migration initiatives, led cybersecurity programs, and directed large-scale infrastructure and operations projects.Today, I serve as Vice President of Business Development at Radus Software, a Woman-Owned, Minority-Owned Small Business (WOSB) founded in 2004. Radus is known for delivering impactful IT and consulting solutions that drive mission success across the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, Federal Civilian agencies, and Commercial clients. Our core offerings include software development, agile transformation, enterprise architecture, data governance, and full-spectrum digital modernization. In my current role, I lead Radus’s strategic growth across the DoD and IC, identifying opportunities that align with our capabilities and expanding our presence in these mission-critical sectors. I also provide executive oversight of our Federal Civilian and Commercial business development teams, ensuring our broader pipeline is strategically focused and tightly coordinated. I work closely with internal stakeholders, delivery leads, and our ecosystem of partners to shape pursuits, position offerings, and ultimately deliver lasting value to our clients. What differentiates me as a leader is my ability to bring together operational insight, business acumen, and strategic foresight — connecting the dots between mission requirements, technical solutions, and long-term value. I don’t just manage teams or chase contracts. I build relationships, shape strategy, and help organizations evolve.Above all, I believe leadership is about service — to your people, your partners, and the mission. I lead with integrity, operate with intent, and take pride in cultivating environments where people feel empowered to do their best work.
