Kurt is a Principal and founder of Mendota Financial Group. He has been providing comprehensive financial advice for individuals and families for over 20 years.In his current role, Kurt focuses on providing comprehensive financial plans, including asset allocation strategies and guidance to many of the firm\'s clients. He has particular expertise working with University professionals and understanding their unique challenges. Kurt regularly speaks to audiences about retirement planning and the process involved in determining the achievement of financial independence; estate planning and the rules and tools used to accomplish goals and the challenges many people encounter; as well as investment planning and the importance of assessing appropriate risk in portfolios.Prior to forming Mendota Financial Group, Kurt was a branch manager of Charles Schwab, financial planner for a Madison area firm and institutional consultant for Mercer Investment Consulting in Chicago, IL.Kurt earned his BS in Finance & Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. He is a Chartered Financial Consultant.Away from the office, Kurt enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife, son, daughter and dog. They live in Dousman, WI.
