Born into the realm of precious stones, I, Kundan Sarraf, emerged as a battle-tested hustler, armed with a Diploma in Gemology from Gem-A, UK, in 2007. The early years of my career were spent honing my skills in a family-run jewelry retail shop. However, fueled by ambition and a desire for innovation, I leaped into entrepreneurship. In collaboration with a giant diamond-cutting company, I initiated my first corporate-style jewelry business. Our focus was on closed jewelry mass manufacturing, providing a valuable job-work solution to jewelry wholesalers and retailers. Despite our initial vigor, the venture faced a financial downturn within a year. The harsh reality taught me that in the realm of business, timing is everything. This setback, though challenging, became a priceless experience that shaped my future endeavors. Undeterred, I redirected my efforts towards gem and jewelry wholesaling, catering to markets both in Pan India and abroad. The venture gained momentum and marked a period of significant success. In 2016, driven by a commitment to excellence, I made the strategic decision to close down operations. This marked the beginning of an intensive period of explanatory research, aimed at redefining my approach to the industry. Saans International® was conceived as the answer to the challenges I had encountered throughout my career. Through numerous iterations and alterations, the initial idea evolved into a comprehensive business hypothesis. This not only addressed the existing problems but also unveiled new opportunities for the industry. Saans International® emerged as a solution provider, bridging gaps and paving the way for a new era in the world of gems and jewelry. I am a story that revolves around perseverance, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to innovation in an industry that continually captures my enthusiasm.
