Working for the Don Valley Crossing - Ontario Line Project, which included construction of Two viaducts each being 500m long and 40m high running across the DVP, don valley and west don river, also involved in construction of Minton Portal Support of Excavation where the subway will pass from the tunnel to the elevated guideways and Beth Nealson underpass.• Spearheaded daily on-site coordination for infrastructure construction, working alongside contractor superintendents, surveyors, and design representatives.• Prepared and reviewed construction sketches, redlines, as-builts and marked-up drawings to facilitate proper execution of field work.• Tracked daily construction progress across 50+ monthly activities and prepare comprehensive daily site reports submitted to senior leadership which includes site personnel, materials, equipment, work completed (installed quantities) and issues that may arise.• Interpreted IFC drawings, technical specs, and field instructions to ensure work is executed in line with design and scope.• Verified quantities of work completed in the field using daily inspections and tracking tools across multiple work packages.• Reconciled 40+ line items monthly for contractor invoices valued at $20M–$25M monthly, ensuring accuracy with field-measured progress.• Maintained real-time quantity tracking and performance dashboards using Excel and PowerBI.• Conducted weekly safety walks and toolbox talks in collaboration with contractor HSE teams to enforce site-wide zero-incident protocols.• Provided QA oversight through field inspections and real-time surveillance, helping identify and close 25+ field-level issues without any delay in work.• Reviewed over 50+ construction and safety work plans, ensuring compliance with project ES & H standards and technical scope. Facilitated constructability reviews, sequencing discussions, and design clarifications on-site for critical path items.
