The work I\'m consistently brought in for is taking a stated business problem (a model nobody trusts, a platform that isn\'t landing with buyers, regulatory exposure) and finding the real problem underneath it, then building the AI product and the team to solve that one instead. Right now that means leading the AI workstream of a Data & AI transformation at one of Germany\'s largest telcos. 15 people, €2.5M+ annual budget, shipping production GenAI, agentic AI, and reinforcement learning into customer experience and network operations. Before consulting, I was Head of Product at a Berlin B2B NLP startup. Took the platform from prototype to its first 1M+ EUR ARR contract and a Wall Street hedge fund client by repositioning it around how underwriters and portfolio managers actually work. Shipped credit risk models that caught degradation 50% faster than incumbents.Building ML since sklearn 0.14. Started with Bayesian classifiers detecting malaria from blood samples on a Raspberry Pi rig at Georgia Tech. I\'ve watched the field go from niche to hype to infrastructure.The most fun I have at work is the moment a stakeholder realises the problem they brought us isn\'t actually the problem.
