About Kunall Anannd
As an Area Manager at Tata Steel, I oversee the washery operations for coal, which is a vital raw material for steel production. I manage a team of managers, engineers and technicians, ensuring the optimal performance, safety, supply chain management and quality of the coal processing. I also coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors, negotiating contracts and resolving issues.I have been working with Tata Steel since 2015, starting as a Manager Logistics. Then I was promoted as Area Manager Improvement, where I applied data analytics and theory of constraints to improve the efficiency and productivity of various Tata Steel India operations. I then moved to the Crushing Unit, where I was responsible for the operations and maintenance of a 4.5 MTPA crushing plant, as well as the commissioning of a new plant unit. I have a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from bit mesra, and I am proficient in AutoCAD, Matlab, MS office, and SAP PRD. I am passionate about innovation, problem-solving, sustainability and supply chain.
