I am a passionate learner presently pursuing MBA and MS(Supply Chain Management from University of Texas at Dallas. As a part of my curriculum, I am working as a Strategic Procurement Intern with Niagara Bottling where I am able to leverage my rich and diverse experience in the field of Procurement, negotiation and strategy to learn more in the field of logistics in food and beverages sector.I have been a techno-Manager with abundant Military experience which earned me the coveted title of Chartered Engineer (India). I feel blessed to have garnered Military ethos of leadership, strategy, ability to cohesively work in teams, developing people and making decisions in stressful conditions. In all the various tenures during my Naval career, I have successfully undertaken technical projects involving Operations Management, logistics handling, Revenue & Capital procurements, men and material management, Project and contract management, and Negotiations.Having been handpicked for numerous diplomatic missions and worked for Nation’s Nuclear Submarines, warships, I have always strived to attain my mission accomplishments within time and budget constraints. I\'ve had hands-on experience right from Government tender process to delivering the refitted ship/submarine within stipulated timelines.Skilled in liaison with Government Agencies, Consultants, Clients, Vendors, Suppliers & Subcontractors to avail mandatory sanctions & obtain necessary approvals for projects; and negotiating with suppliers, procuring materials, ensuring quality standards and maintaining minimum inventory level. In all my assignments, I have led multi ethnic teams, knowing completely different languages, brought the teams to a common platform and have delivered excellent unmatched results; acknowledged for coaching, guiding, motivating & mentoring team members to achieve resource-wise productivity & optimization.A team player who has representation in sports at various events. Led the Technical division of the Dramatics Club while cultural representation has been at International Level. Presently, focused on Information Technology of the unit.My skill-sets and experience have been recognized by the distinguished \'Leaders Excellence\' Club at Harvard Square and I have been awarded the title MLE℠ – Member of Leaders Excellence, which is an approved and registered service mark by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
