ABOUT KUNAL THAKOR

I am a graduate student in Industrial Engineering at Texas A&M University, passionate about manufacturing, process engineering, product development, and optimization. I am seeking full-time roles in Supplier Development/ Quality, Manufacturing Quality and Process Engineering, where I can apply my skills to drive impactful results.Most recently, I worked as a Supplier Industrialization Engineer Intern at Tesla, where I supported supplier ramp-up, process qualification, and production readiness for critical propulsion components, delivering cost savings and quality improvements through PPAP/ APQP, Cp/Cpk, run-at-rate and statistical validation.Previously, at Sulzer, I worked as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer for 2.5 years, driving product development and process improvement projects that reduced production costs and lead times using Root Cause Analysis, PFMEA, and DFM/DFA.At Texas A&M, I’ve applied my skills to academic projects in Lean Production System Design (Value Stream Mapping), Solar Performance Prediction (Python), and Warehouse Optimization (Integer Programming)
