ABOUT KUNAL SARAF
I completed my master\'s from Cologne University of Applied Science in Renewable Energy Management (REM). It is designed to build the expertise in Energy, markets and economics, business plans and project management, and renewable technologies. In the study period I assisted the university as a scientific researcher, which I was chosen among all the REM students. Energy Economics and Price analysis for electricity, futures, hedging contracts for commodities, preparation of learning material were the key areas of my job. I also developed decentralization projects for small villages and their carried out their detailed techno-social analysis. My master thesis titled \'Impedance measurement for future Grid\' comprised of measuring the actual state of small grids (preferably the EV charging grid) by measuring the real-time Impedance of the grid. The findings were obtained by MATLAB and Python programs written for real and virtual Data mining, mathematical fit models and logics to identify the trigger points in time domain. Before the master studies I worked in NTPC Ltd, the largest power producer in India. The responsibilities included maximizing generation based on load schedule and pricing mechanism. Real time data from plant parameters, grid state and electricity prices were processed, to optimize the best-case scenario and take decisions to improve business. My experience in the job helped me to become a certified Project Manager.In addition I gained in-depth knowledge about Data-Analysis with Python and SQL by self and determined learning. Focused attempts I made during my stay in Germany helped me to learn German Language. Being in a International master program, I got the opportunity to meet people from at least 30 countries which developed my biggest soft-skill of approaching and conversing to people with diverse and multicultural Background. My favorite extracurricular activities are knowledge sharing Quora, playing billiards, badminton and volleyball.
