Working at Tata Motors as a Battery Design Engineer. My projects include Tata Sierra, Tata Avinya- Designed and developed in-house HV battery pack (LFP prismatic cell pack) utilizing CATIA V5 as a Proof of concept (POC) Initiative, released parts on Teamcenter, performed bus bar simulations, facilitating manufacturing and assembly of prototype samples-Selected and packaged Battery Electric Module (BEM) components based on electrical architecture requirements-Designed HV bus bar, HV Cables & harness routing with compliance to creepage and clearance requirements. Selected HV connectors based on CDS. Designed plastic holders and mounting brackets to support component integration within packaging constraints- Conducted Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design for Serviceability (DFS)-Managed Tata Motors JLR architecture projects for battery pack Advanced Product Creation (APC) initiatives. Conducted packaging studies utilizing various form factors and manufacturers\' cells for optimal space utilization-Served as the Single Point of Contact with various suppliers for Sierra AWD & RWD EV battery development as part of a new product creation (NPD) project. Conducted Design Mock-Up (DMU) analysis for battery enclosure with surrounding component integration- Identified critical quality issues in the TACO & OPS battery pack assembly line and proposed ideas to Reduce cycle time, resulting in a 2% improvement.
