Surgical Vision Systems leverages advanced computer vision and AI technologies to transform surgical practices. As a Computer Vision Engineer, I develop robust imaging and robotics solutions, building a ROS2-based pipeline integrated with SAM2 and SegFormer models to enable precise surgical instrument pick-and-place operations and conducting hand-eye calibration with marker detection to further enhance positional accuracy. This role builds on my Master of Science in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University.At the HEPIUS Innovation Lab, I collaborated on machine learning projects to improve patient care through smart monitoring systems. Additionally, as Head Teaching Assistant at Johns Hopkins, I supported the academic growth of engineering students in algorithms and software design, fostering innovation and technical excellence.
