Since Fall 2017, I have worked for the parent organization of Material Design, Google Design Platform, in multidisciplinary roles covering design, product, and program leadership.Currently, I lead UX for an internal tooling team building generative AI workflow features for designer & developers using state-of-the-art LLMs. This team is a successful graduate of an incubation program I started and ran from 20••••23, investigating long-term organizational bets by building functional proofs-of-concept.Some other highlights during my tenure at Google- 2020-22: Leading design and product for Material.io during its transition from Material 2 to Material 3 (Material You)- 2020-21: Lead SME and instructor for Course 5 of Grow with Google\'s UX Certificate program (High-fidelity design & prototyping)- 2019: Collaborating with the ML Kit team on the first public design patterns for on-device, ML-powered visual search- 2019-20: Driving 3P adoption of Material Design through 1:1 and scaled engagement methods (office hours, workshops, talks) and starting a measurement program to measure success- 2017-19: Advancing core features of Material Design, from accessibility improvements to new navigation and display components- 2016-17: Prior to Material Design, I worked in Search on interests & personalization features that helped transform the assistive-focused Google Now into the interest-first “Discover” / “Stories to Read” feature
