Experience

  1. Senior Software Engineer

    Google

    Aug 2016 — Present

At the Quantum AI hardware lab, we\'re working towards building a large scale, general purpose quantum computer. I am part of the \"quantum OS\" team working on the classical software stack that drives and orchestrates quantum programs. We are continually improving and productionizing this stack with the aim of providing the best and fastest QC experience for our customers and partners. Major projects- Improved experiment throughput through a holistic rewrite of low-level control software (surpassing best-in-class experiment \"rep rate\")- Improved both qubit calibration performance and throughput through careful signal processing isolation (avoiding signal bleeding and preserving fidelity)- Scaled out software stack that schedules and orchestrates quantum experiments; allowing it to cope with hardware errors, dramatically increased workloads, and superlinear qubit count- Co-lead high impact org- and team-level DEI efforts, outreach coordination, stakeholder/partner logistics, and outreach funding.
