Kumba Tamba is a passionate advocate for environmental sustainability, youth empowerment, and women’s rights. She believes that diversity and inclusion are the true drivers of progress, and that every individual deserves to be heard, respected, and given equal opportunities regardless of race, gender, or religion.Her love for environmental sustainability underpins her current academic pursuit in Tourism, Hospitality, and Events Management, with a focus on sustainable tourism practices. Professionally, she brings years of experience in organisational administration, customer service, and public relations within the tourism and hospitality sector, complemented by practical expertise in events management.Beyond her professional background, Kumba is deeply committed to advancing women’s advocacy in the Ghana and across Africa. She is the founder of The Better Me Initiative and the Rising Women Leaders Network, both of which operate under the Youth Development Consortium to provide mentorship, leadership training, and networking opportunities for young women and youth. She has also represented Ghana as Country Representative for the Pan African Female Youth Leaders, leading community projects that supported girls in deprived schools through access to study materials, sanitary products, and empowerment programmes.Academically, Kumba holds a Master’s degree in International Studies, a Bachelors in Tourism and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), reflecting her strong foundation in international relations, tourism and legal studies. Looking ahead, her ultimate career goal is to combine her expertise in law, human rights, and environmental sustainability to drive meaningful change in communities and on a global scale.Guided by the principle that dreams become reality through deliberate action, Kumba remains purpose-driven, versatile, and committed to lifelong learning. She is determined to continue championing environmental sustainability, women’s advocacy, and human rights law, while building platforms that create equal opportunities and lasting impact.
