As Manager – Supply Chain Planning, I lead end-to-end demand and supply planning for the Repair & Installation business, managing inventory strategies for SKUs across 4 warehouses, 28 distribution centers, 1800 fulfillments nodes and a network of 500+ service partners nationwide.My role focuses on ensuring optimal inventory deployment and supply availability across the network while improving service levels and working capital efficiency.Key responsibilities include: Led demand forecasting & planning using time series models/statistical methods (ARIMA, moving average, exponential smoothing/Holt-Winters, seasonality analysis) across SKU, location, and vertical levels; reduced MAPE from 27% to 15% via weekly & monthly cycles in collaboration with BD and category teams. Inventory planning for large verticals, managing inventory availability & health by applying inventory management methods (ABC analysis, safety stock optimization, reorder point planning, EOQ, and JIT) to optimize stock availability & reduce holding costs by continuous monitoring across multiple warehouses. Leveraged analytics and Lean Six Sigma principles, incorporating risk assessment to identify and eliminate slow and non-moving (SMNM)/SLOB inventory, reducing stock-on-hand (SOH) by 45% and generating ₹6 Cr in working capital savings. Implemented an auto-replenishment model with SQL, App Script, R, and Power BI, achieving visualization and automation of the process to identify demand patterns and inventory reorder levels dynamically. Achieved PNA (refund/replacements) savings of ₹6 Cr. by optimizing inventory management strategies, reducing stockouts by 27%, and increasing inventory turnover ratio from 4.3 to 6.1. Key Performance Indicators (KPI\'s) Improvements: Metrics including SLA/service levels (at >97%) Repair NPS (improved by 8% YoY), MAPE (reduced by 12% YoY), Fill Rate (kept at 98%+), and Days of Inventory on Hand (cut by 43%).
