As an Associate Manager at Maruti Suzuki’s Integrated Research & Development Centre, I specialize in the development, testing, and source selection of acoustic materials. My core focus begins at the concept stage by setting the NVH targets for the acoustic package through detailed analysis of QTT vehicle data and benchmarking vehicles. This initial work drives subsequent NVH testing, data analysis, and the final source and supplier selection of acoustics materials for all interior and exterior vehicle packages, working closely with design team and suppliers.I’m also involved in research on sound transmission through steel (BIW) and glass and have experience with elastomer parts used for vibration damping.Leading projects on acoustic material development to reduce noise from next-generation powertrains, along with digital transformation projects at the Engineering Department level to enhance efficiency and performance. This includes digitizing all Maruti Suzuki’s NVH Lab facilities into Digital platforms in order to increase the work efficiency.My technical expertise includes hands-on experience in 1.
