Now, for over 26 years, I have been professionally associated with the development sector - focusing on rural development/transformation, health, agriculture (agribusiness) & food processing, micro-finance, skill development and policy advocacy. I have also worked extensively on capacity building and empowerment of community based organisations including the PRIs. In leadership positions, in last 10 years, have been leading major business development efforts successfully at federal and state levels. I have worked with national and international NGOs, World Bank and global advisory/consultancy firms, viz, Ernst & Young LLP & Grant Thornton India LLP. I have represented my employer, at various international/global platforms and been speaker at the Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore), Queensland Institute of Technology (Brisbane), Cairo, Bangkok, Manila, Addis Ababa, Dhaka & Kathmandu. Specialties: Project Management. Sector expertise in areas of rural transformation & development (farm and non-farm); Water & Sanitation, Livelihood, disaster risk management, networks and partnerships; Policy research & impact evaluation.
