I am an experienced professional with over 7+ years of expertise in the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) domain, specifically within Chennai Metro Rail Limited. My extensive background encompasses Planning, Tender Designing & Evaluation, Project Supervision, Installation, Testing & Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance, Interface, and Technical Support of AFC systems for Chennai Metro Rail Phase 1 and Extension stations. Currently I am actively involved in implementation of AFC system at Phase 2 stations of CMRL which encompasses the setting up of Backoffice system, Station Level Equipment and Issuance & Acquiring system for Open loop Ticketing.I specialize in the implementation of Open Loop EMV-based ticketing systems and have successfully completed projects involving NCMC-based ticketing, Static QR ticketing, and QR ticketing integration with online platforms such as ONDC, Paytm, Airtel, Phonepay, and more. My responsibilities encompass the end-to-end management of AFC systems, including system design, installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance. I have actively contributed to the design of AFC system architecture, implementation of business rules, network design, and integration with telecom service providers. Additionally, I have ensured a seamless interface with banks and payment gateway agencies for online web top-ups, auto top-ups, and POS terminal transactions.Throughout my career, I have spearheaded critical AFC system tests, including IVR (Installation Verification Record), PAT (Partial Acceptance Test), SAT (System Acceptance Test), integration, and service trial tests. My keen eye for project monitoring and reporting, meticulous record-keeping, and coordination with vendors, operations, and maintenance teams have consistently ensured project success.Furthermore, I have been nominated as the lead committee member for launching new ticketing products, guaranteeing robust, secure, and deployment-ready ticketing systems.
