As part of my job at the National Skill Development Corporation, I oversee the following:1. Implementation of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana in the state of Rajasthan, this includes monitoring of the TCs in all the districts and providing necessary support to concerned training partners which can be government or private institutions. Implementation of Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana in the state of Rajasthan, this includes identification of relevant training centres, monitoring to monitor and improve the quality of training, acting as a link between NSDC and various state government departments and providing assistance to Vishwakarma benefits in general regarding the training component of the scheme. Improve industry participation in the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme 2.0 by partnering up with government departments, industrial associations and other relevant stakeholders. Oversee the overall registration and competition for the state component of IndiaSkills. Providing strategic inputs to concerned departments regarding matters about skill development initiatives. Apart from this as a part of the State Engagement vertical at NSDC, we have to closely monitor all activities/events that occur in the state which have direct or indirect relevance to NSDC; make sure that all the schemes are being implemented efficiently and skill development ecosystem as a whole within the state is on an upward graph.
