I began my career as a Global Manufacturing Graduate with Rolls-Royce, where I gained hands-on experience in manufacturing processes and operations. I then transitioned to a Manufacturing Engineer role within the India Supply Chain, optimizing production and ensuring quality standards were met for aero engine components.Building on my engineering foundation, I made a strategic move to become a Turbines Design Engineer at Infosys, where I support Rolls-Royce’s aero engine development initiatives.    I am responsible for the design and modification of critical components in the Rolls-Royce Trent Family of Gas Turbines. My role primarily focuses on key turbine components such as Nozzle Guide Vanes, Seal Segments, Lock or Retaining Plates, and Turbine Blades.Key responsibilities and achievements include:Product Definition Creation and Management: Develop, update, and release engineering drawings for turbine components using Siemens TCE and NX. I ensure adherence to the highest standards of technical accuracy and design integrity throughout the process.Cost Reduction Initiatives: Lead a team of engineers to execute and evaluate cost reduction ideas aligned with Rolls-Royce\'s Technical Cost Out strategy, improving product value while maintaining quality.Design Feasibility and Technical Assessments: Perform engineering assessments of Definition Alteration Requests (DARs) for feasibility and approval. I manage the integration of these changes, ensuring that all design alterations are accurately incorporated and updated drawings are released to production.Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, focusing on fast-tracking the learning curve for young graduate engineers.
