   Handling Coal procurement under FSA with the 3 Coal subsidies (CCL, BCCL & NCL) of 5.1 million metric tonnes. Along with procurement of Imported coal and coal through RCR mode from CCL, BCCL & NCL as per the approved quantity by procurers on yearly basis.Logistic management in coordination with railways from~20 sidings of 3 coal subsidiaries falling under 2 railway zones and divisions spread across the 2 states.Negotiations and execution of contractual agreements signed with Coal companies, TPSA, CIMFR, Railways & other agreements signed by JPL for Coal handling, Coal quality inspection & lifting of RCR coal along with exploring new source of coal procurement.BCCL Close monitoring and provide the required support to CHA & RCR contractors to achieve the maximum quantity based on monthly requirements and also necessary support provided to Coal Inspection Agency to ensure effective materialization along coal quality.Reconciliation with coal companies in terms of financial & coal quality and disputes recovery on account of quality & quantity shortages.Monitor mine location activities of third parties (Coal Handling Agents, Sampling Agents, Independent Inspection Agencies and contract workforce) including coal loading and quality checks across all 42 railway sidings to ensure compliance to terms and conditions specified in the contracts and Oversee loading, unloading, stacking related activities of the surface transportation agency in case of other sources of coal supplyTimely ensure all payments to coal suppliers, third parties to avoid any penalty & regular tracking of railway wagons carrying coal as per defined systems and procedures to ensure minimum loss in transitPeriodically conduct physical visits to railway sidings to manually check the quality of coal being loaded in rakes; Identify cases of non-compliance and coordinate with CHAs and coal suppliers to resolve the same.
