ABOUT KULEN SUNTHARALINGAM

I am an architect of ideation whose mind’s eye can visualize the Future Potential. A 360° perspective that encapsulates the Challenge, its building blocks and the vision beyond the horizon. In an international career spanning three decades this has been attested to across diverse industry sectors from management, operations, global marketing and brand architecture to education. People to me are the most integral resource and I measure a person not just by their expertise and acumen but future potential to grow. An engineer whose drive for precision: from strategic thought to work process flow and manufacturing deliverables. Matching this, an unerring eye for details and ability to engineer creative ideas that translate into effective, efficient and results-driven solutions. I have led management, marketing and design teams internationally across diverse industry sectors with my personal mantra: the “Eye like Factor” – where business is driven by connecting aesthetics and visual appeal to functionality and market needs. As Managing Director, Asia to Canadian office furniture designer Teknion Corp, I established its flagship state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Asia and forged its identity as a leading global Architecture and Design icon. My next sojourn was with IT technoprenur Baxtech Asia helping translate its world class IP into working solutions for wide ranging applications – through creative applique and my global industry alliances. I embrace creativity in all its forms and developed international art, music and design festivals in many countries including the Bangkok Design Festival. As Global Strategic Advisor to cutting-edge Applied Research of Australia (AROA), an applied research industrial tech provider and Founder-President of Canada-based INSiGHTS XCHANGE, an international consultancy providing end-to-end business and marketing solutions - ideas@work.
