ABOUT KULDEEP SAHU

A results-driven Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), high-voltage electrical design, and renewable energy project engineering. Skilled in BESS system sizing, efficiency evaluation, equipment selection, and technical documentation for grid-scale storage projects. Currently working at Premier Energies Limited, contributing to battery-based renewable solutions through design support, energy calculations, and structured engineering practices.Previously at Anvi Power Industries Pvt. Ltd, I contributed to the 70 MW / 140 MWh BESS project at Bhachunda, Gujarat, where I performed MWh-based battery sizing, round-trip efficiency calculations, and comprehensive power loss analysis across multiple voltage levels. I prepared detailed Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for 66kV and 33kV networks, reviewed key electrical components (PCS, transformers, CT/PT, cables, protection systems), and developed complete Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and equipment sizing sheets.My technical strengths include BESS architecture understanding, HV/LV design fundamentals, transformer & CT/PT sizing, system loss computation, and renewable integration concepts. I also bring strong process and quality exposure from my internship at Dixon Technologies, where I worked with 7 QC tools, MSA, 4M/5S methods, and production-level quality practices.With a practical approach to engineering and a growing passion for clean energy, I aim to work on advanced BESS, grid modernization, hybrid renewable systems, EPC design, and power system engineering projects. I am committed to continuous learning and delivering reliable technical solutions that support India’s energy transition.
