At ICMR, I am involved in translational public health research with a focus on integrating technology, policy, and community needs to strengthen India\'s healthcare systems. My work spans infectious diseases, health equity, and the application of emerging technologies in healthcare delivery. Key projects and responsibilities include: i-DRONE InitiativeInvolved in the deployment and evaluation of drones for medical logistics in hard-to-reach and underserved regions.Use-cases include transportation of TB sputum samples, blood bags and components, and emergency medical supply chainsFocus on operational efficiency, regulatory frameworks, and real-world impact assessment in tribal, hilly, and disaster-prone areas.🧪 Mpox (Monkeypox) SurveillanceContributed to sentinel surveillance and seroepidemiological studies for Mpox across high-risk populations.Assisted in national preparedness through risk mapping and community awareness🧬 STIs and Sexual HealthSupporting the development of strategic studies for STIs and RTIsResearch includes barriers and facilitators in accessing STI care, especially among gender and sexual minority populations.Advocacy for inclusive, evidence-based interventions in national health programs.
